We would like to invite you to attend our next board meeting on Tuesday February 4th at Galati’s in Cary. The meeting will begin at 7:30pm, and we’d love for you to join us to learn more about how you can support the CBA and even consider serving on our board next year.

As a volunteer-run organization, the CBA relies on the dedication and input of parents and community members to ensure we continue to provide enriching basketball opportunities for local youth. Whether you’re interested in coaching, helping with events, or contributing your skills to the board, there’s a role for everyone!

Registration is closed for the season 2024-2025 season.

**Rec League Teams and Schedules will be announced  late November.**

For Blue Jays and older: there will be an evaluation  weekend November 8th-10th in order for coaches and GMs to hold a draft. Please sign your child up for one 30-minute slot in this Google doc. 

Teams will be announced late November and  the season will kick off  the first weekend in December. Practice and game schedules will be created and shared with families after teams are drafted in November. We do NOT take teammate requests!

The regular season will run December 2nd - Mid March  and the season will wrap up with a March Madness tournament or Final Four game (for Sparrows & Robins). No practices or games will be held when school is not in session.

Here are a few details for each league format (Subject to change):

• Sparrows (Kindergarten) - COST: $210 - Combined boys/girls league; Weekly 90-min practice/game combo on Saturdays or Sundays; 10 regular season practices/games & Final Four game; 4v4 format; coaches ref; 8 ft hoops; 4 teams per court
   

• Robins (1st & 2nd Grade) - COST: $210 - Separate boys/girls leagues; Weekly 90-min practice/game combo on Saturdays or Sundays; 10 regular season practices/games & Final Four game; 4v4 format; coaches ref; 8 ft hoops; 4 teams per court
   

• Blue Jays (3rd & 4th Grade Boys, 3rd & 4th Grade Girls) - COST: $260 - Separate boys/girls leagues; weekday practice and weekend game; 10 regular season games & March Madness Tournament; 5v5 format; 2 paid refs; 9 ft hoops; 2 teams per court
   

• Cardinals (5th & 6th Grade Boys) - COST: $260 - Boys-only league; two weekly practices and weekend games Saturday or Sunday; 10 regular season practices/games & March Madness Tournament; 5v5 format; 2 paid refs; 10 ft hoops; 2 teams per court
   

• Girls Junior High (5th-8th Grade Girls) - COST: $240- Girls-only league; two weekly practices and weekend games; 10 regular season practices/games & March Madness Tournament; 5v5 format; 2 paid refs; 10 ft hoops; 2 teams per court
   

• Hawks (7th & 8th Boys) - COST: $290 - Boys-only league; two weekday practices and weekend games (Saturday or Sunday); 10 regular season practices/games & March Madness Tournament; 5v5 format; 2 paid refs; 10 ft hoops; 2 teams per court
   

• Falcons (HS Boys/Girls) - COST: $260 - Weekly 75-min game ONLY; 5v5 format; 2 paid refs; 10 ft hoops; 12 regular season games over 10 weekends & March Madness Tournament

Cancellation Policy: 100% IF CANCELED BY OCTOBER 28TH.  50% if canceled by November 5th.  There will be no refunds after November 5th.   All refund requests must go through our Treasurer,  Jacey Wuhrman at caryhoopsfinance@gmail.com.

Since 1993, the Cary Basketball Association has been providing basketball opportunities to the youth in our Illinois communities - kindergarten through high school. Today, the CBA offers both recreation and more competitive "feeder" program opportunities.

Grounded in good sportsmanship, the CBA provides the opportunity for players of all ages and skill levels to play with friends and compete at the highest level.
