Registration for all Leagues is now CLOSED

 

We're excited to announce our games and practices will be held in Cary this year.  

For Blue Jays and older: there will be an evaluation the first weekend in November in order for coaches and GMs to hold a draft.  

The season will open up the first weekend of December and teams will be announced mid-November.

The regular season will run December 10 - March 12 and the season will wrap up with a March Madness tournament or Final Four game (for Sparrows & Robins) on March 18-20.

Here are a few details for each league format (Subject to change):

  • Sparrows (Kindergarten) - COST: $205 - Combined boys/girls league; Weekly 90-min practice/game combo on Saturdays or Sundays; 10 regular season practices/games & Final Four game; 4v4 format; coaches ref; 8 ft hoops; 4 teams per court 
     
  • Robins (1st & 2nd Grade) - COST: $205 - Separate boys/girls leagues; Weekly 90-min practice/game combo on Saturdays or Sundays; 10 regular season practices/games & Final Four game; 4v4 format; coaches ref; 8 ft hoops; 4 teams per court 
     
  • Blue Jays (3rd & 4th Grade Boys & 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade Girls) - COST: $215 - Separate boys/girls leagues; weekday practice and weekend game; 10 regular season games & March Madness Tournament; 5v5 format; 2 paid refs; 9 ft hoops; 2 teams per court
     
  • Cardinals (5th & 6th Grade Boys) - COST: $215 - Boys-only league; two weekly practices and weekend games Saturday or Sunday; 10 regular season practices/games & March Madness Tournament; 5v5 format; 2 paid refs; 10 ft hoops; 2 teams per court
     
  • Girls Junior High (6,7,8th Grade Girls) - COST: $215 - Girls-only league; two weekly practices and weekend games; 10 regular season practices/games & March Madness Tournament; 5v5 format; 2 paid refs; 10 ft hoops; 2 teams per court 
     
  • Hawks (7th & 8th Boys) - COST: $230 - Boys-only league; two weekday practices and weekend games (Saturday or Sunday); 10 regular season practices/games & March Madness Tournament; 5v5 format; 2 paid refs; 10 ft hoops; 2 teams per court
     
  • Falcons (HS Boys/Girls) - COST: $250 - Weekly 75-min game ONLY; 5v5 format; 2 paid refs; 10 ft hoops; 12 regular season games over 10 weekends & March Madness Tournament

16 and over preferred, however we can accept a limited amount of 13-16 years old refs/scorekeepers for the season.

Since 1993, the Cary Basketball Association has been providing basketball opportunities to the youth in our communities - kindergarten through high school. Today, the CBA offers both recreation and more competitive "feeder" program opportunities.
